DVMs Rise and Shine for Global Fast Scan Training

Innovetive Petcare is committed to the continued growth and training of veterinary team members.

This past May, Dr. Steven Golla organized a “Global Fast Scan” ultrasound training for twelve of our DVMs from across four Innovetive Petcare clinics. Hosted at Austin Urban Vet Center in downtown Austin, Texas, veterinarians from these four clinics got together to spend a day expanding their skill set and approach with ultrasound training.

Greg Lisciandro, DVM, Dipl. ABVP, ACVECC, lectured and trained DVMs from across Texas including Austin Urban Vet Center, PAZ Veterinary, Belton Small Animal Clinic, Animal Medical Center of Austin, and Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic, Lockhart.

Ultrasound has become a basic skill needed in today’s practice and we worked together from our partnered clinics to further our skills in ultrasound. The “Global Fast” system is more than just learning to use the probe and read the machine, it is a very specific technique driven approach that provides systematic process to ensure appropriate scanning technique leading to enhanced diagnosis.

We firmly believe continued development of ultrasound skills leads to higher quality medicine, quicker diagnostics, better outcomes for patients, more efficiency for clients, and greater job satisfaction for our veterinarians.
