IPC Welcomes Emergency Clinics in Destin and Niceville Florida
Tucked away near the white sand beaches and emerald waters of Destin, FL, you’ll find the bustling teams of Emergency Veterinary Clinic of Okaloosa–Walton, Inc.
Founded by a group of 35 veterinary shareholders in September 1995, the emergency veterinary clinic began with three full-time veterinarians – one of whom is still on the team today – and has since grown to seven full-time veterinarians with a second location opened in June 2019.
Like with many of our partnerships, continued growth was what sparked discussions about a prospective sale. Many of the current shareholders found themselves too busy running their own general practices to adequately attend to the ever-growing needs of an emergency clinic; thus, serious conversations about handing over the reins began. The board of directors enlisted the services of Dr. Brennan McGoldrick (of Practice Sales Advisors) to guide them through the process of finding a new partner for the team.
Long-time Hospital Administrator, Kathryn Young, also played a key role in the vetting process, and when asked what differentiated Innovetive Petcare from others, she said, “[they] are intentional, selective, well managed, and have an exceptional support team!”
