INNOVETIVE PETCARE ACQUIRES CROSSROADS PET HOSPITAL

Innovetive Petcare, a Texas-based company that owns and operates veterinary practices throughout the U.S., announced it acquired the veterinary management assets of Crossroads Pet Hospital in Carrollton, Texas. Established in 1989, Crossroads Pet Hospital has been a valued provider of small animal medical and surgical services in the Carrollton area, offering thorough, modern care at a good value and by a friendly, established staff.

Innovetive Petcare CEO and President Mark Ziller says, “We are proud to have Crossroads Pet Hospital as part of the Innovetive Petcare family. We will continue to honor its legacy while building for the future.”

Crossroads Pet Hospital was built by Dr. David King in 1989, at a time when Carrollton was at the edge of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and pastureland still thrived. Dr. Russ Mitchell developed the practice to where it is today, part of the ongoing development of Carrollton. Crossroads Pet Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital offering general and orthopedic surgery, ultrasound, and advanced treatments in addition to preventative care.

The practice has always prided itself on being a trusted, ethical small business that has enjoyed loyalty and longevity among both staff and clients. In transitioning the practice to Innovetive Petcare’s leadership, Dr. Mitchell said, “Working with Innovetive Petcare has been a great decision for me and the practice. I’m still taking care of our clients, but with the support we need, making the transition seamless for clients and staff.”

Crossroads Pet Hospital is Innovetive Petcare’s second acquisition in the greater Dallas area, and joins the Innovetive family of general and specialty practices.  Innovetive Petcare seeks to acquire other general and referral veterinary practices as it continues to build the nation’s premier family of veterinary hospitals.
